High Points Championship
FINGER LAKES REGION HIGH POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP 2010
The Finger Lakes Region High Points Championship is intended to be a reward
for participation in Finger Lakes Region (FLR) and SCCA events. Points are awarded
to participants (competitors and worker) in Club Racing, RallyCross, RoadRally,
Solo, and charitable and public events from September 1, 2009 through December
31, 2010.
Competition, worker and total points will be recognized.
HIGH POINT SUBMISSION
FLR events, for which information has been provided to the Activities Chair,
will be compiled. Participation in non-FLR events should be reported to the
Activities Chair. Points must be submitted by January 5, 2011. Members should
report participation and are ultimately responsible for their points.
HIGH POINTS WINNERS
Winners will be recognized at the Finger Lakes Region Annual Banquet, January
29, 2011.

For this year online points submission may be made via e-mail
or
download the tally sheet and send the completed form via U.S. mail to the
Activities Director.

ELIGIBILITY
- Must be a paid member of SCCA.
- Must enter or work events as a FLR-SCCA member.
- Associate members are not eligible for the High Points Championship.
- Must participate (compete or work) in a SCCA category. Bonus points are awarded for each additional category on which you participated.
SPECIFICATIONS
- A minimum of four hours participation is required to constitute a working day.
- The greater of Chair, Chief of Specialty, etc. points or competition points
or worker points will be used. If both competing and working, competition points
earned will be credited, with additional worker points included up to the worker
point value. If the competition points are greater than the work points, no work
points will be awarded.
- Event Chair and Worker Coordinator must submit results and worker list
to Activities Director.
- The decision of the FLR Activities Director will be final regarding the
crediting of points.
- Additional events and points awarded may be approved by the Board of Directors.
BONUS POINTS
For every additional category that is worked or participated in, member will
receive an additional 15 points in addition to points received for that event;
i.e.: participation in each of Rally, Solo, Race and (1) Public Event and (1)
Charitable Event, will earn an additional 60 points.
You must work at one of the following events in order to be eligible for the
high points championship:
- FLR Regional Race
- FLR Public Event
- FLR Charitable Event
