Record Number of Participants Expected at 2006 Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships

TOPEKA, Kan. (Sept. 6, 2006) – The 2006 Tire Rack® SCCA Solo National Championships at Heartland Park are set to be the most spectacular in event history as entries now total over 1,160.

A change in venue and 72 classes to choose from have obviously upped the interest in this year’s Solo Nationals taking place from Sept. 26 – 29. A number of classes are bursting at the seams, expecting 45 plus entries.

“We couldn’t be more excited to see the numbers growing,” said SCCA Solo Director Tasha Marlow. “I think it speaks volumes of the enthusiasm soloists have for their sport to see this level of participation from drivers across the continent.”
