Meeting was called to order by Charlie Tanck at 7:30 PM.

 

There were 22 members at the meeting.

 

Not much happening at National.

 

Sent out email to get a nominating committee. No one responded to the email. We did get a couple of people who wanted to run for office. We don’t see much support from race car drivers, do they want the region to continue racing? Nominating Committee will need to be put together by the end of August.

 

Membership – we currently 434 members, there were 3 renewals this month.

 

Membership picnic coming up July 28th. Colby’s Catering is going to be supplying food. Please bring a dish to pass and let Barbara know at (585) 773-9712 or blcatscars@aol.com if you plan on coming to picnic.

 

We need help at the track in all specialties, especially flagging, where you get to see all of the action close up.

 

Solo had an event this past weekend. There was a school and Test and Tune on Saturday and an event on Sunday. There was 117 drivers on Sunday. National has cancelled the Pro and National Tour events in Brunswick, Maine. Next local event is July 19th because of the National events here on the East Coast. There was some input that the Solo program should start having meetings again.

 

Rally is not doing much with Winter series right now. STPR is a little over a month away from today. Preparations are going well, a group is going down this weekend. Some issues with getting local Fire support are being worked out. A group of people are going to Ohio in a couple of weeks to help with a rally.

 

Glen region had Divisional race and Time Trial this past weekend. Both seemed to go smoothly.

 

Finger Lakes Hoosier Racing Tires Super Tour is a couple of weeks away. We currently have 138 entries with 122 drivers registered.

 

Rally Cross trailer is being cleaned out. Chris Bucknam is inventorying what was in there and we will end up disposing of most of the contents.

 

Earl is doing much better and he and Judy hope to drive down Friday of the Super Tour.
