Re: 2006 National Championship Runoffs® Tow Fund

Effective with the 2006 Club Racing National Race Season, the SCCA
Board of Directors has approved an increase in the tow fund assessment
fee from $10 to $15 per car. The $10 per car assessment has not been
increased since the mid 1970’s and has not kept pace with the
economy. In order for the tow fund program to be effective in reimbursing
our Runoffs participants, this increase is necessary.
Throughout 2006 the tow fund program will be re-evaluated and input will be sought from drivers and region personnel as to additional ways to make this program more beneficial. Your feedback and ideas are needed, so please contact either myself or Bryan Cohn with your suggestions.
With this information, please plan your 2006 budgets and entry fees accordingly.
