Ladies and Gentlemen,

We are every pleased and excited to announce the roll-out of the SRT Membership program which is a key element of the new partnership between the SCCA and the SRT (Street and Racing Technology) division of Daimler Chrysler. We know you will find this new program to be an effective way to gain active, involved SCCA members, as well as bolstering your Region's membership income.

SRT vehicles represent performance-enhanced versions of many of the most popular DaimlerChrysler vehicles such as the SRT-10 Viper, SRT-
8 Charger or Magnum, SRT-6 Crossfire and SRT-4 Neon. Accordingly, SRT owners, like most SCCA members, are real car enthusiasts and we are excited to offer them a unique opportunity to join our Club.

DaimlerChrysler offers every new SRT owner the opportunity to attend a high performance driving event entitled an SRT Track Experience.
These events provide SRT owners an opportunity to drive different SRT vehicles in various formats including an autocross course and on the track, similar to our SCCA Performance Driving Experience (PDX).
Daimler Chrysler expects more than 10,000 SRT owners to participate in one of the Track Experience events in the next 12 months.

More importantly, each person who attends an SRT Track Experience event will have an opportunity to become an SCCA member, courtesy of DaimlerChrysler, simply by completing a special membership application like the one pictured here. You can check out the schedule of upcoming SRT Track Experience events on line at www.SRTtrackexperience.com to not only learn about the events, but also to help forecast when you might expect to receive new members.
We are eager to help welcome these performance enthusiasts into the SCCA.

Not only must we welcome each of these new members, but we must work to engage them in SCCA activities so that we take full advantage of the opportunity to help them become active, involved, long-time SCCA members.

How can we do this? Here are some of the initiatives that the SCCA National Office plans to engage in along with some areas where the National Office, through the Region Development Department (RDD), can support your Region's efforts to reach out to the new SRT members.

Each new SRT member will receive an e-mail welcoming them to the Club as soon as their application is received.

- A special welcome letter will be included in their new member packet.
- A unique post card, featuring local Region contact information, will be sent after their first 90 days of SCCA membership to help ensure they have connected with their Region.
- An electronic newsletter will be distributed to all SRT members.
- Special SRT member focused features in SportsCar.
- Finally, each first-year SRT member will receive a special renewal e-mail prior to the expiration of their membership.

How will the SRT membership program affect your Region? Ideally, it can help generate the type of active and involved members that make the SCCA that great organization that we enjoy being a part of. Here are some of the specifics.
- Like the Subaru membership program, your region will receive $15 in Regional dues for each new SRT member.
- Your Region's monthly membership galley will highlight new SRT members for your use in easily recognizing the new enthusiasts.

o We encourage each Region to develop an active communication program to reach out to the SRT members. The National Office will provide a sample letter, including an invitation to upcoming events, which Regions can customize and send to new SRT members.
o The Region Development Department (RDD) will support your Region's efforts to connect with new SRT Members.

Your Region will receive a $10 renewal bonus, in addition to your standard Region dues, when an SRT member renews their membership for the first time. This bonus will help recognize your Region's efforts in reaching out to all the SRT members In the coming weeks the RDD will be contacting Regional Executives to discuss the details of the program and how we can help you in this recruiting effort.

We are looking forward to talking to you very soon. The RDD can and will help serve your needs and support your Region's efforts in welcoming SRT enthusiasts to the SCCA.

Best Regards,
