To those special few drivers who win both their class races on Saturday and Sunday (Short & Long courses), and who's class consists of a minimum of five (5) starters each day, Finger Lakes Region SCCA will bestow the crown of "Champion du Circuit du Glen" on Sunday. "Champion du Circuit du Glen" is a lifetime award, and will not be re-awarded to previous winners.

Saturday Afternoon Enduro

  • This race is open to all SCCA Showroom Stock and Improved Touring cars listed in the 1999 GCR. ITE cars are not eligible.
  • This race is limited to a maximum of 45 entries. Entries will be accepted on a "first come, first served" basis.
  • A minimum of 30 entries is required, or the race will be canceled. The additional entry fee for this race is non-refundable after the entry cancelation deadline for this Double Regional race, unless the race is canceled or the Entrant's entire weekend entry is withdrawn by the cancelation deadline. Driver/Car must be entered in the Regional and compete in Saturday's race to be eligible for enduro.
  • Race duration is scheduled for 1 hour, but may be shortened by the Chief Steward.
  • The official grid will be established by qualifying times from Saturday's short course sprint race qualifying sessions.
  • The winner in each class (ITS, ITA, ITB, ITC, SSA, SSB, SSC) will be the driver who first completes the greatest number of laps within the stated race time. The Checkered Flag will fall based on the clock, not on the leader's position on the track. The first car to take the Checkered Flag is not necessarily the winner.
  • No driver changes are permitted during the race.
  • No pit stops are expected. No refueling will be permitted.
  • No trophies will be awarded. Prize money will only be paid in classes with four (4) or more entries: 1st -- $75, 2nd -- $50, 3rd -- $25.

See the Supplemental Regulations for full details and rules.
