Entry Fees
HISTORIC NEW YORK
$ 75 - full entry
SCCA member discount $5 per member (yes, if both entrants are members the discount is $10)
**(only one discount per person per week will apply)
Newcomers fee is $40 per day. Neither team member has previously entered more than one National rally with the '95 or '96 USRRC counting as one event. No additional discounts apply.
THE 1000
$75 per day or $275 includes Tues., Weds., Thurs. and Saturday. Member discounts apply**.
Entry for THE 1000 is limited to 15-18 cars. Entries postmarked/received after July 15 will be charged a late fee. HNY and The 1000 $10 per event/$30 for the week; Newcomers $5 per event . All cars additional $5 per event fee for on-site registration.
FREE ENTRY
One free Historic New York entry will be awarded. The recipient will be selected by random drawing from all eligible for the Novice Team Award for 1997**. To be eligible for drawing, entries must be received by July 15.

Rally Philosophy
THE 1000 - Want to see some of the best rally roads in the country? The
1000 is a mostly unpaved tour of the scenic southern tier of NY and northern PA,
The 1000 begins our week of rallying, with passage controls, great roads, reasonable
start times and plenty of socializing in the evenings. Competitors will contribute
to the success of the event by working controls ["run-work" is a concept which
allows lots of controls without depleting the competitor base]. Competition in
SCCA Touring Rally classes with regional general instructions.
HISTORIC NEW YORK - A scenic tour of the back roads of Finger Lakes country. A touring rally through the rolling hills of the Finger Lakes area of New York State. Starting and ending in Rochester, the beautiful scenery enhances the drive. Using both paved and unpaved roads, this event will be somewhat brisk, with passage controls and an on-time, all-the-time philosophy. Competition classes for regional newcomers, and SCCA touring rally classes, conforming with the 1997 Road Rally Rules.
AWARDS, etc.
- Trophies for each team member, will be presented to at least the top 10% of competitors in each class, for Historic New York.
- All competitors and workers on The 1000 will receive an award or momento of the event
- All participants will receive a souvenir dash plaque.
- T-shirts will be available by pre-order.
- Finish positions for The 1000 will be based on the best overall performance, in each class, for all rallies from Tuesday through Saturday.
- Hospitality Monday, Friday & Saturday evenings, for all participants

- Full individual $55
- Under 30 (Speed Freakz) $30 per year
- Temporary (weekend) $30.
