Road Rally, "Rally 'Round Victor", Sun. 5/18/08

Too warm for winter rallying on snowy roads? How about the next best thing—rallying and ice cream! Join us at Papa Jack’s ice cream parlor on May 18th for our second spring season rally: Rally ‘Round Victor ‘08, a Finger Lakes Region SCCA social event. This event is “déjà vu” style rally, with an approximately 30 mile loop driven twice around, using tulip style route instructions. Scoring is based how close teams match the timing second loop to their first. The event starts and finishes at Papa Jacks in Victor, with the following schedule:
• Registration - 1:00 PM
• Novice School - 1:30 PM
• Drivers meeting - 2.00 PM
• First car off - 2:16 PM

Repaving at Lime Rock Park - Canceled Races

Lime Rock Park will start moving earth on May 27th and about seven days later workers will start paving. The plan is to repave the existing track and add two more configurations. The timeline is weather dependent and rain could change the schedule. The paving is expected to be completed during the first week in June and will need a three to four week curing time (click link for full article)
