General Membership Meeting 7 July 2026

 

Meeting called to order at 7:30 PM by RE Charlie Tanck.

 

There were 9 members at the meeting.

 

Charlie would like to thank Mike & Marsha Toombs (registration and suppplementals) and Mike Cianciosi and Russel Jaslow, pace car drivers, for the work they did at Finger Lakes Hoosier Race Tires Super Tour.

 

We currently have 275 individual members, 153 family members for a total of 428 members. The state by state is:

There is an article on SCCA website about our Super Tour. The last Super Tour of the year is at Barbara Motorsport Park in August.

Solo – there was a test and tune, but no events since last meeting. Next event is July 19th. The National Tour is July 31st through August 1st. The

National Tour is technically full with 275 entries and there are people on the waitlist.

 

Race, Super Tour numbers were down, had 209 entries. Don’t have the final accounting done yet. Saturday party was great. We hope we broke even.

 

Fun One suppplementals are in waiting for approval. Unsure when the Fun One is going to be in 2027.

 

Elections – no one volunteered for the nomination committee, one person said they would run for director and either Chris Bucknam or Jim Hoelscher are going to run for RE. Russel Jaslow said he would like to run for director as well.
